Dr. Anna Kapustina is a U.S. Navy Veteran who spent 8 years serving on medical assignments around the world before pursuing her passion for podiatric medicine in private practice.
She earned her Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine from Western University of Health Sciences and completed her residency at the Veterans Affairs Hospital in Tucson, Arizona.
A lifelong athlete and former competitive figure skater, Dr. Kapustina is happiest outdoors. She’s an avid road cyclist, hiker, camper, and enthusiastic pickleball player. In 2024, she summited Mount Kilimanjaro—an adventure that sparked her mission to keep climbing mountains across the globe. When she’s not treating patients or planning her next expedition, you’ll find her outside with her husband and their two daughters soaking up sunshine, trails, and family time.
As the founder of Stepwise Podiatry, Dr. Kapustina blends modern technology with a personalized, holistic approach.

This treatment is a great for children and diabetic patients. There are no activity restrictions—patients can swim, exercise, and wear nail polish throughout treatment.
